Competitions
Competitions are a great way for the band to show off all they have learned, and hopefully win some trophies! Most of our competitions start in the early afternoon and run to about 11pm. The band usually arrives at CHS in the morning for a quick practice and to load the truck before departing for the competition.
We need parent chaperones (with Level II status) to make these trips happen. All chaperones will get in for free. Any other family or friends who wish to attend may do so, but will need to pay the entrance fee, usually $15. Parking is typically free at the competitions, and bring money for the concession stand! Competitions are fun and you get to see lots of great bands from around the area.
